Liberal and Dodge City Trade Blowouts
06/18/2014

The Liberal Bulldogs and Dodge City Rangers exchanged blowouts Tuesday night at the Liberal Baseball Complex.  The Bulldogs won the first game 14-6 in five innings but the Rangers took game two 20-7.

In game one, Liberal scored 12 in the fourth inning of the game which went five innings due to the run rule.  Sylman Pando was 3-4 with a double and three runs, Collin Ware was 3-4 with a triple and two runs, and Brandyn Terrazas was 2-4 with a double.  Collin Ware and Kaiden Long pitched the Bulldogs to victory.

Game two was an 11-7 game until Liberal fell apart in the seventh.  Liberal allowed nine runs in the seventh and committed six errors and DC had just three hits in the inning.

Liberal is 5-7 and plays in Dodge City's tournament Saturday playing Dodge on Saturday morning and the Butler County Cubs in the afternoon.

The 16's beat the Hooker 18U team 13-11.  They had won four of their last six and are 4-10 playing older competition.
