Barton Stymies Seward

Life proved to be different on the road for Seward County. Barton handed the Saints their first conference loss 3-1 Wednesday night in Great Bend. Barton won the match (25-22, 25-17, 20-25, 25-23) handing #18 Seward their first conference loss. The Cougars are now 1-2 in the conference and 7-4 overall. Seward is 9-3 overall and 3-1 in the Jayhawk West and is now in a tie with Pratt for first place. Seward plays at the Wyo-Braska Shootout Thursday and Friday September 23 and 24.
