The campaign to elect Shannon Francis for State Representative had its first Coffee with the Candidate Wednesday and listened to what is important to you. Jobs, business climate and education were at the top of the list. Also, Shannon was told that a positive tone was important. How can anything get done when everyone seems so polarized and negative he was asked? People also mentioned concerns about high tuition, water, highways and housing in rural Kansas. We need legislators that will work with others in Topeka to get things done. Shannon said, " I want to make my Community better. To do that we need to be positive and we need cooperation from others across the state. Our problems are not simple to fix. It will take hard work and passion to fix them and I want to thank everyone that came for letting me know what is important to you."
