SCCC/ATS Party Auction Plans Full Night of Fun
09/10/2010

The Seward County Community College Area Technical School Foundation is having their 16th Annual Scholarship Party Auction. This has been a very important fundraiser for the SCCC/ATS student scholarships. The event will take place September 25 starting at 6 p.m. at the Seward County Event Center Fairgrounds. Ticket prices are $20 and consist of a complete meal and access to the auctions.

SCCC Director of Development, Tammy Dole said, “Last year, we stated we had everything for your kitchen except the sink. This year we have the bathroom sink.” They will be auctioning everything from homemade chicken enchilada soup to a complete Colorado getaway, aside from the many other items on auction and the silent auction.

The auction has been a success the last few years and, according to Tammy Dole, has “…grown gradually over the years. Last year we raised $41,000.” They will also be fortunate to have SCCC Music Director Magda Silva and SCCC students perform at the Party Auction: Isaac Fuentes, Heather Grant, and a piano trio.
