Motorcycle Crash Kills Hooker Man
09/10/2010

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a motorcycle crash killed a Hooker man Wednesday.

Sixty-two year old Virgil Theiner lost his life at the scene of the accident after his 2001 Honda Goldwing Motorcycle veered to the right of the roadway two times, striking a curb and rolling the motorcycle one and one fourth times according to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The motorcycle was headed westbound on Highway 54 one mile east of Hooker. Theiner veered to the right side of the highway for an unknown reason. The motorcycle came back to the road and swerved a second time hitting the curb and rolling. Theiner was ejected 13 feet. He was not wearing his helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
