Girls Varsity Tennis Results

From Colby Tennis Invitational

Saturday, September 4, 2010

With 23 team points, the Lady Redskins tied for 2nd Place at the Colby tournament as all players gained valuable experience. Norton finished 1st Place with 27 points. Participating teams included Norton, Osborne, Plainville, Scott City, and two teams from Colby.

Individual Results:

#1 Singles—Susan Nguyen went 3-1 on the day finishing 3rd Place. She defeated Plainville’s Jade Collins 7-0. Then in a match closer than the score indicates, Susan lost to defending 4A

Champion Caitlyn Wark from Colby 7-3. She bounced back to defeat Laura Juenemann from Colby 7-0, then defeated Jessica Gregory from Osborne 7-5 to take 3rd Place honors.
