The football game kicks off in Pittsburg Saturday night. Meade lineman Trevin Pfannenstiel and Hugoton fullback/linebacker Caleb Gifford repsresent the listening area on the West team. Gifford ran for 1,575 yards and 21 touchdowns and 142 tackles for 10-1 Hugoton. The younger brother of former Seward baseball player Brock Gifford signed to play football at Hutchinson. The 6'2" 290 pound Pfannestiel signed at Garden City after leading the Buffaloes to an 11-1 season.
