Texhoma Woman Killed In Wreck
07/27/2010

A Texhoma woman was killed after a two-vehicle collision in Texas County Sunday afternoon.

According to a Personal Injury Collision Report, the accident occurred at 2 Sunday afternoon. That's when a 1999 Ford, driven by William Hoskins, 91 of Texhoma, was west bound 19 miles north of Texhoma on Hwy. 64. The vehicle, according to the report, slowed to make a left turn when an unknown vehicle passed Hoskins, distracting him and causing his vehicle to turn into a 2007 Toyota truck driven by Jennifer Tuttle of Guymon.

Hoskins' passenger, Pat J. Worthington, 77 of Texhoma, was taken to Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, Kan. and later air-lifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Worthington passed away early Monday morning.

Hoskins was also taken to Morton County Hospital where he was admitted with trunk internal injuries. He is listed in stable condition.

Tuttlle was taken to Memorial Hospital in Guymon where she was treated and released. Her two passengers were not injured.

All subjects involved with the accident had seat belts in use.

The accident was investigated by Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Texas County Sheriff's Office, Guymon EMS, Goodwell EMS and Texhoma EMS.
