Former BJ Gears for All Star Game

Former Liberal Bee Jay Ian Kinsler has made it big. The Texas Ranger second baseman is a Major League Baseball All Star. Kinsler will wear Texas Ranger red and blue Tuesday night in Anaheim. Kinsler once wore BJ red and blue and played for Bee Jay coach Jon Wente in 2001. That Bee Jay team went 30-28 and 19-21 in the Jayhawk and tied for 7th at the NBC World Series. The Arizona native played at Central Arizona before signing at Missouri after his summer with the Bee Jays. Kinsler is hitting .310 with four homer ande 30 RBI's for the first place Rangers.
