Lady Skins Rally to Win Colby Opener
01/23/2014

The Lady Redskins came up with what coach Bill Baird called their best win of the season Thursday afternoon in Colby at the Orange and Black Classic.  McCook jumped all over Liberal early leading 19-7 before the Lady Skins went on a 22-2 run and a 15-0 run to lead 22-19 at halftime.  Jai Chapman scored 22 and Jada Mickens added 15.  Liberal has won four of their last five and is 4-5 while the Lady Bison are 7-9.  The Lady Skins play host Colby Friday night at 6:30 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  LHS won despite going 7-19 at the free throw line.
