Lady Saints Clobber Colby

The #9 Seward Lady Saints beat the Colby Lady Trojans 84-36 Wednesday night in the Colby Community Building.  Seward built an 18-2 lead and led 43-15 at halftime.  It's Seward's 15th straight wn over Colby and sets up #3 Hutchinson at #9 Seward Saturday night in the Green House.

The Lady Saints forced 32 turnovers and Colby shot 24 percent.  Payton Fleming scored a season high 16 while Shanise Brooks added 15 points and 14 rebounds.  Korina Chapman had 13 points and eight rebounds.  Fabiana Monte had 12 points and six rebounds.  Alana Simon had 11 points. 

Seward is 17-1 and 2-0 in the Jayhawk West while the Lady Trojans are 2-16 and 0-2 in the Jayhawk West.  Seward hosts unbeaten Hutchinson Saturday night at 6 with Saints Shootaround at 5:45 on B107.5 and kscbnews.net.  The Bank of Beaver City is the buyout sponsor.
