First Southern Baptist Parking Lot Poses as Drive In Theater
06/25/2010

For the third time this year the First Southern Baptist Church will make their parking lot a drive in theater. There will be games, food, and the showing of the movie Letters to God at 6:30 p.m. Friday night. First Southern Baptist Church pastor Jack Jacob says the movie will move you.

"We want to show people the love of Christ," Jacob said. "It's a good clean movie. It's just a powerful film. It's about trusting God even when life isn't going quite the way you planned it. A little boy gets diagnosed with cancer. If you have anybody in you family struggling with a diagnosis of cancer, it's a great inspiring and encouraging movie for them as well."

The event is free of charge.
