Greg McClurg is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore wrestler Greg McClurg is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  McClurg went 3-1 and placed second at the Pratt tournament last weekend helping the Redskins place fifth out of 11 teams.  McClurg is a 132 pound wrestler who also helped the Redskin cross country team win the WAC and he competed at the state meet.  He also runs track in the spring. 

McClurg and the Redskins wrestle at the 18 team Colby Duals Tournament Friday and Saturday.  Friday the Redskins wrestle Burlington, Colorado, Legend, Colorado, and Colby before facing Concordia and Chaparral, Colorado on Saturday before beginning the seeded portion of the tournament.
