COMBINE TO BRING ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL ACROSS FAR SOUTHWEST KANSAS
TODAY. ANYWHERE FORM 1 TO 4 INCHES IS POSSIBLE, MAINLY SOUTH OF A
JOHNSON CITY TO DODGE CITY LINE. BEST CHANCES AT THIS TIME FOR
HIGHER AMOUNTS AROUND 3 INCHES APPEARS NEAR THE OKLAHOMA LINE

MORNING TO 9 PM CST THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...10 AM CST THROUGH 9 PM THIS EVENING.

* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW ACCUMULATION BETWEEN ONE AND FOUR INCHES.
  COMPACTION OF SNOW ON ROADS WILL LIKELY CREATE SLICK DRIVING
  CONDITIONS. VISIBILITY MAY ALSO BE REDUCED IN PERIODS OF HEAVIER

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS REMAINS
IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST FRIDAY.

* EVENT...SNOW TOTALS OF ONE TO THREE INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE
  NORTHWEST PANHANDLES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS TO AROUND FOUR
  INCHES POSSIBLE IN THESE LOCATIONS. FOR ALL OTHER AREAS...SNOWFALL
  TOTALS UP TO ONE INCH ARE EXPECTED. IN ADDITION...DANGEROUS WIND
  CHILL VALUES AS LOW AS 10 DEGREES BELOW ZERO WILL BE POSSIBLE
  ACROSS THE PANHANDLES.

* TIMING...SNOW IS EXPECTED TO START THIS MORNING ACROSS THE WESTERN
  OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST TEXAS PANHANDLES...THEN GRADUALLY SPREAD
  ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE PANHANDLES THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
  THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF BY EARLY FRIDAY MORNING. THE LOWEST WIND
  CHILL VALUES WILL OCCUR THIS MORNING AND EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...THE SNOW COULD CREATE HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.
  WIND CHILL AND DANGEROUS COLD WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND
  HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
