West B Team fell short losing the game in the final quarter. This was the highest point total of the season for WMS B team the score was 29-33. Scorers were: Jocelyn Sanchez with 2, adding 4 points were Caitlin Nutt, Jackie Sanchez, and Kyra Terry, Luisa Sotelo pitched in 5 points, and Breia Duque with her season high 11 points including one 3 pointer! B Team has shown much improvement and look forward to the second half of the season.

A Team was unable to play a full game and failed to make several fast break layups ending in a defeat of 24-37. There were points in the game when the girls were playing with them but costly turnovers added to the loss. Scorers in the game were: Demaris Neal, Luisa Sotelo, and Jadyn Williams all with 2 points, Tania Minjarez added 3, and Ali Lucero scored her season high with 15.

Both teams will take on South on Thurday @ SMS beginning with the B Team at 4:00 and A Team to follow.
