Seward Advances with Win Over Broncbusters
11/06/2013

The Seward County volleyball team advances in the Region 6 Tournament with a 3-1 win over Garden City Tuesday night in the Green House.  Seward won (25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 25-10) to improve to 22-15 and drop Garden to 8-22.  This sets up the semifinals of the tournament beginning Sunday in Hutchinson.  At noon it will be 13-18 Barton against 24-10 top seed Hutchinson and at 2 it's the Saints against 24-8 Colby.  Seward lost a pair of five set thrillers against the Trojans September 11 in Liberal without setter Nacole Miller and October 15 at Colby.

This also marked the final home game for sophomores Morgan Riley and Annelise Sanchez.
