Guymon Storm Shelter Locations Identified

With severe weather season upon us, and with the possibility of severe weather in the area Guymon Police Chief< Eddie Adamson has identified the following locations as approved storm shelters in the City Of Guymon.

Academy Elementary - 604 N. Academy

Ambassador Inn - 1909 NW Highway 64

Carrier School - 103 N. Perkins

Elk's Lodge - SW 5th & Sunset

Hope Community Church of God- 401 S. Pracht

Homer Long School - 1518 N. Beaver

Living Word Fellowship - 802 N. Roosevelt

Methodist Church - 523 N. Roosevelt

St Peters Catholic Church- 1220 N Quinn

Sunset Lane Baptist Church- HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE- 1515 N Sunset Lane

In the event of severe weather, residents are advised to take shelter in appropriate facilities when possible.
