Liberal Needs to Beat WAC Teams to Make it to State
10/23/2013

Liberal hosts a 5A sub state Saturday at the Big House.  LHS is the four seed and is 21-16 and faces fifth seeded 12-22 Hays Saturday after the 2 p.m. matchup between top seeded 27-9 Great Bend and 5-30 Ark City.  Liberal has split with Hays beating the Indians at Dodge City at the WAC Tournament Saturday but losing to them at Hays.  Liberal has lost both times they faces Great Bend at WAC and at Garden City.

The other side of the bracket pits second seeded 27-10 Bishop Carroll and #7 6-30 Goddard.  Third seeded 20-15 Goddard Eisenhower plays #6 11-26 Maize South.  The winner of both of these four team brackets will advance to Topeka.
