Riley Jones is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Riley Jones

Liberal senior golfer Riley Jones is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Jones qualified for 5A state with her showing at Hays on Monday.  Her best 18 hole score this year was a 109 at Ulysses.  Jones only began playing golf last year and qualifies for state one year after picking up the sport.  She is also treasurer for National Honor Society, a member of student council, she competes in track and powerlifting.  She will compete at state Monday at the Tex Consolver Golf Course on Tyler Road in Wichita.
