LHS Spikers Doomed in Dodge

The Liberal volleyball team's season took a turn for the worse Tuesday afternoon and evening in Dodge City.  After winning 14 matches in a row, Liberal lost to a pair of WAC foes and finished 1-2.  Liberal beat Wichita Word of Life (25-3, 25-8) but lost to Garden City (15-25, 17-25) and Dodge City (26-28, 24-26).  Megan Besecker had 15 kills and 16 aces while Katie Garcia added 18 aces.  Liberal is 19-6 and plays Hays, Colby, and Phillipsburg in Hays Monday.
