LHS Girls Face WAC and the Wind at Willow Tree

The Liberal girls golf team hosted WAC teams on a day in which temperatures reached the high 90's and winds howled out of the south at over 35 miles per hour.  Riley Jones sliced right through the wind for 10th place with a 49.  LHS shot a 216 which was their best of the season.  Garden City  won the tournament at Willow Tree with a 168   while Hays shot a 183 with Dodge City adding a 203 and Great Bend had a 208.  Garden City's Abby Shaddix won the tournament with a 33.  Liberal competes at Ulysses Tuesday.
