Britton Abbott is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Britton Abbott

Liberal senior football player Britton Abbott is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Abbott is 52-80 for 783 yards and seven touchdowns in two games this season.  He is Liberal's all time leading passer with 3,850 yards.  Abbott has also rushed for 226 yards and six touchdowns.  Abbott passed for 2,316 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior while rushing for 909 yards and passed for 751 yards and seven scores as a sophomore with 575 rushing yards. 

Abbott gets it done in the classroom and is a member of National Honor Society and plays basketball.  He also plays linebacker and has seven tackles.

LHS hosts Hays at 7 Friday night on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  Redskin Pre-game begins at 6.
