Seward's all time leading scorer Tegan Cunningham started slowly but finished quickly Saturday. After going 1-13 in the first half, Cunningham scored 19 of her 25 points in the second half helping the Cowgirls beat Chattanooga 70-63 Saturday night in the first round of the NCAA Women's Tournament in Tempe, Arizona. Cunningham is averaging 17 points and eight rebound per game her senior year for the 24-10 Cowgirls. She is coached by former Seward coach Jim Littell who is head coach Kurt Budke's top assistant. OSU plays at 8:30 Monday night in Tempe against Georgia.
