Bulldogs Settle for Split in Holcomb and 14's Meet their Match
06/20/2013

The Liberal Bulldogs ventured to Holcomb Wednesday night for a double header and it looked like two different teams in both ends of the double header.  The team from Holcomb, Scott City, and Sublette blanked Liberal 10-0 in game one before the Bulldogs took game two 9-2.

In game one, Sublette's Trevor Leverett tossed a four inning no hitter against Liberal.  The Bulldogs won game two 9-2 as Angel Archuletta pitched the Bulldogs to victory.  Liberal scored five in the first after going the first game without a hit.  The Bulldogs added runs in the fifth and sixth.

The Bulldogs are 13-10 and play at Hugoton Friday and host the same team from Holcomb, Scott City, and Sublette Monday.

The Cimarron River Rattler 14's played Dodge City's 15's and 16's Wednesday night at Dodge City and finally met their match.  DC won 9-1 and 8-0.  The Rattler 14's are 15-3.
