29 Arrested In Gang Crackdown
06/10/2013

A 21-month investigation of local criminal street gang activity concluded with the arrest of 30 individuals, and the service of four search warrants.

The operation began in October 2011, when the Garden City Police Department investigated the report of a home invasion at 2615 N. Main Street #4A, which resulted in an aggravated robbery and aggravated battery. Several individuals involved were identified as members of a local criminal street gang. It concluded on June 5 with the service of search warrants at three residences located in Garden City and at a location in Finney County.

The search warrants were served at the following locations:
• 950 Jennie Barker Road #47.
• 603 Howerton Place
• 1325 Summit Street
• 1265 Rolling Hills

After a review of other cases involving members of the same criminal street gang, an investigation called “Operation Frontline” was initiated to resolve older cases and suppress future gang crimes. This investigation involved undercover operations, surveillance and
gathering evidence of crimes involving suspected gang activity in Garden City.

These crimes included home invasions, gang initiations, aggravated batteries, an aggravated arson and attempted murder, gun sales, drug sales, burglaries, and possession of stolen property.
As the investigation progressed, information was obtained about criminal activity in other jurisdictions, including Finney County.

The Garden City Police Department received investigative assistance from the Finney County Sheriff’s Office to investigate criminal
activity in the county. Operation Frontline resulted in criminal charges filed against 29 members and associates of a local street gang.

Four individuals identified during the investigation have not been located.

Bernabed Gramajo is wanted for two counts of aggravated battery, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, felony criminal damage to property, incitement to riot, and two counts of battery, for the incident occurring on October 9, 2011 at 2615 N. Main Street #4A, Garden City, Kansas.

Joey Terrazas, 1301 N. Main Street is wanted for burglary and theft.

Joaquin Ceniceros, Ulysses, Kansas is wanted for sale of cocaine.

Victor Guzman, Amarillo, Texas is wanted for aggravated battery and incitement to riot.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Garden City Police Department at (620) 276-1300. If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact Crime Stoppers at (620) 275-7807, or text GCTIP and your tip information to 847411 (Tip411).

Additional arrests are expected.
