03/10/2010

Liberal, KS-- Emphasizing quality family time and showcasing what Liberal has to offer is the underlying theme for Play, Learn, Lead: A Family Carnival, hosted by the Leadership Enrichment and Development Class of 2010. The class is seeking interested businesses and organizations to host booths that spread that message, and provide fun as well.

The carnival is slated for Saturday, March 27th from 11 am to 4 pm and will take place at the Southgate Mall parking lot and former Stage area in Liberal. It will be open and free to the public. Booth hosts are encouraged to provide both entertainment and informational elements and will be asked to bring all supplies, materials, tables, etc.

Interested businesses and organizations must sign up to host a booth at Play, Learn, Lead: A Family Carnival by Thursday, March 18th. To sign up or obtain more information, call Booth Committee Chair Wanda Covert at (620) 626-7366 or (505) 929-3810 or by email wcovert@sewardcountyks.org.
