Agard Named KJCCC Player of Week
02/19/2010

For the second time in as many weeks Seward County Saints forward Latiq

Agard has been named the KJCCC Player of the Week. Agard earns the

award this week after posting back to back 20 point efforts against

Pratt and Cloud County. Wednesday night against Pratt the sophomore

scored his 20 on 7 of 13 shooting while ripping down a season high 13

rebounds even while battling with 6'11 Iliwa Baldwin underneath. In

Saturday's big road win against Cloud County, Agard found his way to the

free throw line 16 times, just 3 short of the school record, while

scoring 20 and picking up 4 rebounds. Agard and his Saints will take on

Dodge City Saturday for Homecoming as they look to lock up home court

advantage for the first round of the playoffs. Saturday will also be

Latiq Agard poster night so make sure to come out, enjoy the festivities

and grab a free poster of Agard and have him sign it at halftime of the

women's game.
