A Stronger Softball Program at LHS Opens Tuesday
03/26/2013

Pat Knott

Liberal's softball team is headed the right direction.  After 3-18 and 6-15 campaigns in coach Pat Knott's first two seasons, LHS stepped forward last year.  They were much more competitive in a 9-12 season and swept Dodge City for their first WAC wins in four years.  Liberal returns six starters from that team including seniors Micah Hasik (C), Riley Hay (2b), Cynthia Cisneros (SS), Kaitlyn Ralston (LF), and Jaycee Darroch (P/1B).  Junior Amanda Love (1B/OF) also returns.  Other key players are senior Ilse Rosales (RF), junior Stephanie Sanchez (CF), junior Alyssa Tatro (3b), and freshman Brittany Granger (3b/P).
