After serving a search warrant at a Wesley Acres residence, a man was arrested on three counts.
According to a story in the Guymon Daily Herald, Mark Albert McCain, 30, was arrested for possession, methamphetamine, possession, marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Officers, during the course of the search, found several evidentiary items, including plastic baggies with the corners cut off, known for smaller amounts of illegal substances to package for sale. Also found were digital scales with a white powdery substance, which later tested positive for methamphetamine, a metal pipe with a burnt green leafy substance, which later tested positive for marijuana, and a teaspoon with a white powdery substance, which later tested positive for methamphetamine. In addition, several items of paraphernalia were found including the plastic baggies, a metal pipe, a glass pipe, digital scales, a roll of tin foil, an ice cream scoop containing a white substance, a multi colored glass pipe, and needles.
McCain has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, methampetamine, a felony that is punishable by imprisonment for not less than two years but not more than ten years and a fine of not more than $10,000; count two, possession of controlled substance, marijuana, a misdemeanor that is punishable by imprisonment up to one year and a fine of up to $1000; and count three, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for up to one year and/or a fine of up to $1000.
McCain remains in the Texas County Detention center with a $50,000 bond.
