Lady Saints Lose in Hutch

The Seward Countly Lady Saints trailed by just two at halftime on Monday in Hutchinson, but the Lady Dragons were to much in the second half as they went on to defeat the Lady Saints 67-55.

Seward shot just 26% from the floor. Hutchinson outrebounded the Lady Saints 55-29. Vaneza Junior scored 14 in the loss.

The Lady Dragons are now just a game behind the Lady Saints in the Jayhawk West at 7-2. Seward is 21-2 overall, and 8-1 in the conference.

The Lady Saints will host Barton County on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The game will air on B107 FM and kscbnews.net.
