Ransom Wins 2nd Straight Player of the Week Award
02/19/2013

Seward County sophomore Kaheem Ransom won his second
straight Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week award Monday as announced
by the league in their weekly release.  Ransom stepped up big for Seward
once again this week, helping the Saints to a pair of wins to bring them
even with Hutchinson at the top of the Jayhawk West standings.  Monday
against Cloud County he scored 16 first half points and rested the
second in a 68-39 blowout win over the T-Birds.  On Saturday at Dodge
City he played all 40 minutes of the Saints 79-65 win, scoring a game
high 22 points and dishing out 6 assists.  On the week he averaged 19
points and 5 assists while shooting 57% from the field and 50% from the
three point line.
