Happy Homecoming for Redskins
02/18/2013
Gruver postgame

The Liberal Redskins are hitting stride at the right time.  Liberal has won three of their last four after a 59-41 homecoming win over Great Bend Saturday night in the Big House.  The Skins move into a tie for fifth in sub state as they improve to 6-12 overall and 2-4 in the WAC.  Great Bend loses for the ninth straight time to fall to the bottom of the sub state standings at 5-14 overall and 2-5 in the WAC.

William Ross led Liberal with 17 points while Blake Stout bombed in 15 and J.J. Lewis added 13 including a late game dunk.

The Redskins sweep the Panthers for the second straight season.

The Skins play at Garden City Tuesday night at about 7:45 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
