LHS Regional Wrestling 1st Two Rounds

Three Liberal High School wrestlers qualified for state at regionals in Great Bend Saturday.  Trenton Wilson took second at 152 while Ayodale Braimah at 145 and Cody Smith at 132 took third. 

First two rounds

113- Oscar Garcia lost 9-1

120- Kyler Thompson lost 15-0; won by pin in cons.

126- Greg McClurg lost 4-2; won cons. by pin

132- Cody Smith won 6-0; round 2 lost by pin

138- Corey Campos won by pin; round 2 lost by pin

145- Ayodale Braimah won 17-0; round 2 lost 5-3

152- Trenton Wilson won 3-0; round 2 won 6-4 in OT

160- Beau Fick lost by pin; lost in cons. 8-2

170- Edgar Sandoval lost by pin; lost by pin in cons.

182- Shawn Lay lost 16-3: lost 12-2

195- Ryan McClurg lost by pin; lost 3-1 in cons.

220- Jorge Nune lost by pin; won in cons. by pin

285- Sergio Borjas lost 3-2
