Lady Saints Continue Dodge City Dominance
01/25/2010

Seward won their seventh consecutive game over Dodge City Sunday afternoon 70-43 at the Dodge City Civic Center. The tenth ranked Lady Saints win their eighth straight game and improve to 6-0 in the Jayhawk West and 19-1 overall. Rachel Barnes led the Lady Saints with 18 points and six rebounds while Vaneza Junior added 11. Morgan Skomal scored 10 off the bench. Head coach Toby Wynn credits his bench for recent wins. "The last two games I'm really proud of our bench," Wynn said after Seward's fourth straight win in the Dodge City Civic Center. "They've done a good job of scoring and getting rebounds and coming in and giving us a lift. The last two game our first five haven't been real sharp offensively." Dodge City falls to 3-17 overall and 1-6 in the Jayhawk West. Seward hosts second place Garden City Wednesday at 6 PM on B107.5 and kscbnews.net.
