Jai Chapman

Liberal junior basketball player Jai Chapman is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Chapman leads the 4-8 Lady Redskins at 16 points and eight rebounds per game.  Chapman scored a career high 29 points last Thursday in a 59-58 double overtime win over Scott City in Colby.  Liberal plays that same Scott City team tonight at 6:30 in Scott City and on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  Chapman is also an all WAC volleyball player and track athlete.  Chapman was Liberal's lone basketball all WAC selection last year.
