Brown's Shoe Fit and Soles4Souls have joined forces to collect shoes for the victims of Haiti's devastating earthquake. The non-profit group Soles4Souls has made a commitment to donate more than 250-thousand pairs of shoes to the survivors as quickly as possible. With the earthquake causing about 300-thousand people to lose their homes, the need for safe and sturdy footwear is critical for the rebuilding process. Through the end of January, people can donate by dropping off gently worn or unworn shoes at Brown's Shoe Fit in Liberal. A two dollar donation is requested to help offset the shipping costs.
