Cohadarevic Returns to Kansas

Former Saints All American Darko Cohadarevic returned to Kansas Saturday. The 6'9" inch Serbian scored eight points for his Texas Tech Red Raiders in an 89-63 loss to Kansas in Allen Field House Saturday. Although his home is Serbia and his second home Liberal is over 400 miles from Lawrence, Darko had about a dozen friends in attendance Saturday. Cohadarevic scored eight points in the loss. The game went better than his other Kansas outing at Wichita State in December when he scored one point. He is averaging seven points and five rebounds per game for Pat Knight's Red Raiders. He is shooting 50 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line. Cohadarevic was the Region 6 Tournament MVP in 2008 helping the Saints with the tournament. He was named an NJCAA All American after averaging 15 points and eight rebounds per game for Bryan Zollinger's Saints. Seward finished 32-6 and third in the NJCAA Tournament in Hutchinson.
