Baker Arts Center Offers January Childrens Workshops

“Paint a Story”
The January 2013 Preschool Workshop for ages 3-5 features
young artists listening to fairy tales and then painting what they like best about the story. They will also make up their own fairy tale and illustrate it. Finger plays and music and movement activities accompany their arts experience. Class meets Wednesdays on January 9, 16, 23, 30 at 10:00 to 11:00 am. The cost is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for nonmembers. Class size is limited. Call 624-2810 for more information and to enroll. The center is located at 624 N. Pershing in Liberal.


“Paint Like Picasso”
January 2013 Workshop
Kindergarten through 6th grade artists will learn about the famous artist, Pablo Picasso, study posters from the permanent collection, and create projects based on his art. They will explore the many different styles this artist created during his lifetime. Class meets Wednesdays- Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30 from 3:45 to 4:45 pm.
