Redskins Show Improvement in Colby
12/10/2012

The Liberal High School wrestling team competed in Colby Kansas this weekend. The team competed better despite giving up 18 point during every dual. The team went 2-6, but with a full line up there's no telling how we would have ended up. We were in at least three of the duals that we lost. The wrestlers wrestled a lot better this weekend. We worked on things to better ourselves, especially on getting out from the bottom. The team will compete one more time before break at Kingfisher in their first individual wrestling tournament of the year.

This weekend's results:

Adrian Orozco 0-7

Kyler Thompson 4-3

Cody Smith 5-2

Jason Relles 1-5

Ayodale Braimah 3-2

Jared Carroll 1-1

Trenton Wilson 7-0

Beau Fick 1-6

Edgar Sandoval 2-5

Victor Mannarez 4-3

Dustin Berens 3-4

Trenton Wilson won the Most Pins award from our pool of competition. He is also the wrestler of the week.
