Karl Mecklenburg will Speak in Satanta

Former Denver Bronco Karl Mecklenburg will speak in Satanta January 9. Billy's in Liberal will cater a meal at 5 PM with the program at 6:30 PM in the Satanta High School Auditorium. Mecklenburg will be on hand early to sign his book Heart of a Student Athlete. Mecklenburg lives in Littleton, Colorado and has been active in many charities and motivational speaking engagements since retiring from pro football in 1995. The Minnesota native is second on the Broncos' all time sack charts with 79.5. He played for Denver from 1983-1994 after the franchise selected him with the 310th pick of the 1983 draft. Mecklenburg was inducted into the Broncos' Ring of Fame in 2001. Proceeds will benefit the Satanta High School Football Program.
