School Board Filings For Texas County Accepted Benning Dec. 3rd

Candidates for the Board of Education in Eleven Texas County school districts file Declarations of Candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, 03rd December 2012.
La Fonda F. Limon, Secretary of the Texas County Election Board, said the filing period ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday, 07th December 2012.
The Board of Education positions at stake will be filled at the Annual School Election scheduled Tuesday, 12th February, 2013. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the total votes cast in this election, the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes will meet in a runoff election on Tuesday, 02 April, 2013.
Offices for which Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted at the County Election Board office include the following:
Goodwell School District ---Office No. Three (3)
Guymon School District I-008 --- Office No. Three (3)
Hardesty School District---Office No. One (1) & Three (3)
Hooker School District---Office No. Three (3)
Keys School District--- Office No. Three (3)
Optima School District---Office No. One (1)
Straight School District---Office No. One (1)
Texhoma School District--- Office No. Three (3)
Turpin School District--- Office No. Three (3)
Tyrone School District---Office No. Three (3) & Five (5)
Yarbrough School District--- Office No. Three
