Redskin Wrestlers Win Five of Six in Amarillo

The Redskin wrestlers won five of six duals for a second place

finish at Amarillo Tascosa Friday and Satuday. After three wins

Friday, the Skins beat Las Vegas Robertson 52-19 and topped

Tascosa 57-28. Altus downed Liberal 60-13 to win the tournament.

Justin McPhail at 189 pounds and 160 pound Carlos Rodriguez

both went 6-0. Adrian Salas (119) and Adebayou Braimah (135)

were both 5-1. Dalton Rutledge (112), Austin Pitts (152), Tanner

Montoya (180), Devon Davis (215), and Akile Powdrill (heavyweight)

were all 4-2 this weekend. Liberal is 13-8 in duals. LHS hosts the

Southwest Classic January 8 and 9 in the Big House.
