Two new games are being launched by the Kansas Lottery that feature the National Guard and The Saturday Evening Post.
Proceeds from the games will benefit veterans programs across the state. Tickets are being sent this week to retailers across Kansas.
The new games are scratch tickets. The first is a $2 ticket featuring military themes that have appeared on The Saturday Evening Post cover and illustrated by Norman Rockwell. Players can win up to $10,000.
A second game is a $1 ticket that features logos of the Kansas Air and Army National Guard. The top prize in the game is $5,000.
The lottery began the veterans ticket series in 2003, with revenue generated by ticket sales benefiting the Kansas National Guard scholarship program, museum, and veterans homes and cemeteries.
