Skins' and Lady Skins' Handle Dumas

The Liberal Redskins boys' basketball team jumped out to a 19-4 lead on Saturday at the 'Big House' in route to a 49-35 victory over Dumas.

Liberal led 29-14 at halftime. Tyson Deaton led all Redskin scorers with 14 points. Jade Cathey added nine, while Kedrick Eyle had eight.

The Redskins finish the Conestoga Energy Classic 2-0 and are now 4-1 on the season.

The Lady Redskins were again led by sophomore Justice Norah. Norah had 18 points for the game in Liberal's 39-29 win over the Lady Demons of Dumas.

Senior Malyssa Williams scored 10 points in the game. Kayla Payton and Kristen Ross each scored eight.

The Lady Skins' are now 4-1 on their season as well and finished 2-0 on the weekend.

Both Liberal teams will host Perryton (TX) on Friday at the 'Big House.'
