10/21/2012

Curious about what astronauts eat while they're in outer space? Want to
sample some space food? For all this and more, come down to the Liberal
Memorial Library on Monday, Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.

The Library's NASA series concludes with an examination of what types of
foods and drinks are taken into outer space. The topics discussed in
this presentation include, the nutritional value of the foods, how are
the foods are chosen and how hard is it to eat in outer space.

And of course, there will be an opportunity to try some space food. How
delicious is freeze dried ice cream, snack bars and powered fruit
drinks? Come down to the Library and find out what it's like to eat like
an astronaut.

For more information, contact the Liberal Memorial Library at 626-0180.
