Homecoming Festivities At Liberal High School
10/15/2012

This year’s homecoming festivities will begin on Tuesday, October 16th at 7:00 PM with a basketball game featuring the Harlem Wizards in the Liberal High School gymnasium. The events continue with the homecoming parade on Friday, October 19th at 2:30 PM. The LHS Student Council (STUCO) would like to invite community organizations to participate in our traditional parade. If you and your team or organization would like to have a float, please contact Mr. Foster (620-604-1242) or Ms. Miller (620-604-2288). Anyone interested in participating in the parade needs to have reserved their spot in the parade by Tuesday, October 16th.

Homecoming festivities will conclude on October 19th with the Queen and King Coronation Ceremony during halftime of the football game against Goddard Eisenhower. This year’s fall homecoming spirit week theme is “Redskins in the Spotlight.” The spirit days are as follows:

Tuesday: Avengers Day “Super heroes and villains”

Wednesday: Disney Day

Thursday: Harry Potter v. Twilight

Friday: Red, White and Black Day “Redskin Day” (Class Shirts)
