SCCC Men's and Women's Tennis Ranked in Pre-season

The Seward County tennis program continues to be one of the most well respected programs in the country. The ITA ranked the SCCC men number 13 and the women number eight. Fanny Benincasa is rated the 10th best player in the country and the second best in the region while Ekaterina Gabashvili is ranked 37th in the nation and number five in the region. Benincase and Gabashvili are ranked 10th in doubles and number one in the region. Seward is ranked second in the region in women's tennis. Carlos Souza leads the SCCC men's rankings at number 40 and seventh in the region while Fernando Soni is number 45 in the nation and 10th in the region. Christian Romanzini is 53rd nationally and 12th in Region 6. Eduardo Munoz (75 overall and 16th in region), stefan Ignjatovic (79th overall and 17th in the region), and Levan Gabashvili (82nd overall and 18th in the country) receive top 100 rankings. In doubles, Soni and Souza are 32nd whiel Munoz and Romanzini are 36th. The Saints men are ranked third in the region.
