Youth Waterfowl Hunt Application Deadline Approaches

In December, Lake Meade State Park and Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism will be hosting two youth waterfowl hunts at Meade State Lake for four young hunters. Hunts will take place on a Saturday and will begin in the early morning. All participants will be required to attend a pre-hunt meeting. Youth ages 9-15 are eligible for this hunt, which is geared to introduce the sport of waterfowl hunting to new or inexperienced hunters. Previous hunting experience is not required and arrangements will be provided to applicants who do not have access to their own equipment. A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND.
