Saints Bruising Front Line Leads Saints Past Clarendon
11/21/2009

Seward proves it's not always your size that matters in basketball. There was more proof Friday night when the Saints beat Clarendon (7-3) 118-79 in the Green House. Marky Nolen who stands 6'2" scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Latiq Agard added 20 points for the 5-1 Saints. Guard Tony Smith added 21 points and 13 rebounds. Marcus James added 13 rebounds. Alex Sturonovich added 11 points. Agard says the team has the makeup. "We have a lot more scorers this year," Agard said. "We added Dante (McCarter) we added Marky he's a very good defensive player. Rob (Sigala) is a better point guard he can push the ball and control the game. We've got Tony, Marcus, and Jon and long defenders. We're going to be pretty good." The Saints won despite 31 turnovers. They play 2-5 Redlainds Saturday night at 8 PM. The Cougars lost to Fort Scott 79-75 Friday. Saturday's game will air on B107.5 and kscbnews.net.
