Not many pharmacists can put a ball down like LaKendra Sanders. But she hopes to someday posess the skill set of a pharmacist who can play volleyball at a high level. The six foot sophomore from Lewisville, Texas chose Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford for their pharmacy school and volleyball. Sanders was a second team all Jayhawk West player for the 26-11 Saints this year. She was third on the team with 265 kills and second on the team with 108 blocks and a .309 hitting percentage.
